Barcelona secured a commanding 5-1 victory over Real Betis in the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night, booking their place in the quarterfinals.

The match began with Gavi putting Barcelona ahead in the 4th minute following a fine assist from Olmo. Jules Koundé then extended the lead to 2-0 in the 27th minute with a pass from Yamal. In the second half, Raphinha made it 3-0 in the 58th minute after a fast counter-attack started by Yamal. Ferran Torres added a fourth in the 67th minute, set up by Olmo.

Lamine Yamal sealed the win with a fifth goal in the 75th minute after a brilliant through ball from Frenkie de Jong. Betis' only goal came through a penalty from Vitor Roque.
